My feels are $130/60 minutes. That amount will be pro-rated depending on the time used. Payment is due upon booking your session. For couples therapy, (read here for more information about PACT Couples Therapy), you'll be invoiced for a $100 deposit when you schedule the appointment. The remainder of the fee will be charged once the session is complete since length of time varies.
I accept BCBS for Individual Therapy. Unfortunately, I cannot accept insurance for Couples Therapy. However, I can provide you an invoice to submit for reimbursement to your HSA or Flex Spending Account.
Once you have booked and paid for your session, my time is reserved for you and I will be available. If for any reason you are not able to keep your in-person appointment, a phone or video appointment can take place. If for any reason I am unable to keep the appointment (very rare), you can choose for your fee to be refunded or applied to your next session. In general, refunds are not made for missed or cancelled appointments. In the case of a genuine emergency that prevents you from keeping your appointment (such as hospitalization of you or a loved one), exceptions may be made. If you must cancel for a non-emergency, if I am able to schedule another session in your time slot, I will not charge you so do let me know as soon as you realize you have to cancel.
Please note - for couples, I am unable to see only one partner without the other. Please only schedule sessions for times that both partners can attend.
PACT Couples Therapy- PACT tends to have longer session lengths (2-3 hrs allows for a "deeper dive") and less overall sessions than other styles of couples therapy. Click here for more info on PACT.
Individual Therapy - Session length is usually 60 min or 75 minutes. Under certain circumstances a session can be shorter or longer. After the initial session, together we will determine if there is a good fit for you we are a good fit and decide on a session length and approach that feels right.
It is preferable to meet in person, however, when that isn't possible, other arrangements can be made such as phone calls, online video sessions or home visits. The office is informal and I ask that you bring what you need to feel comfortable. I also ask that shoes be removed for cleanliness - feel free to bring socks/slippers.
